Dr. Andrew Aziz is Director, Financial Engineering, Research and On-Cloud solutions within the IBM Risk Analytics group. Prior to its acquisition by IBM, Andy held a number of senior positions at Algorithmics Inc. including Executive Vice President of Risk Solutions, Vice President of Professional Services and Vice President of Products. In addition, Andy currently teaches in the Financial Engineering Programme for the Schulich School of Business at York University and for the PRMIA Risk Management Training Course in Toronto. He has published several refereed articles on financial engineering, risk methodologies, and portfolio management as well as speaking extensively at risk management and financial engineering conferences worldwide. Andy holds several degrees, including a Ph.D. in Finance from York University and an MBA in Finance from Queens University.
