Bruce Weed is the IBM global program director of Watson and big data ecosystem development, and is part of the IBM Software Group. Bruce has extensive experience in business development, sales and marketing. Additional skills and experience lie in product and brand management, operational strategy, IT strategy and software development. Bruce runs two LinkedIn groups, IBM Big Data and Analytics (which looks at both use cases and technology trends around Big Data) and the IBM Watson Group. He is also a big data evangelist who keynotes at major conferences around the world. Bruce has vast experience in emerging technologies, including his leadership around the launching of ecommerce for IBM back in the early days of the internet.
