I’m heading to the Gartner Business Intelligence & Analytics Summit in Las Vegas. At this event, IBM is a premier sponsor and will have a strong presence in the exhibit hall (Booth #401) where we’ll be demonstrating leading edge products, such as Watson Analytics, Analytic Catalyst and IBM Concert. We’ll also be hosting several speaking sessions; I’ll be presenting “Five Decisions You Need to Make for your Big Data and Analytics Programs” on Tuesday at 12 noon PT, and VP Marc Altshuller will present “The Future of Analytics is Now!” on Monday at 3:00 p.m. PT. This is always a popular event with IT and business leaders, and for many it is both an education and strategy-setting forum. I’ve been fortunate to attend this event in Australia and Europe this year as well, and have seen customers' reactions when they hear IBM’s strategy for big data and analytics, and see demonstrations of our products.
