Emory University Hospital uses IBM streaming analytics to gain life saving insights on patients

Emory University Hospital collects and analyzes intensive care unit patient data in near-real time, speeding the delivery of potentially lifesaving insight by 95 percent or more, when it engages IBM and IBM Business Partner Excel Medical Electronics to deploy an IBM streaming analytics system, potentially saving lives and cutting costs

Sharath Cholletti, Computer Scientist explains: "Using IBM InfoSphere streams, Our goal is to develop the next generation ICU monitoring system. So that we can conduct advance analytics in real time and provide enhanced care to patients."
