As a content marketing manager within enterprise content management (ECM) at IBM, Misty Ahmadi drives building buyer-centric content. She focuses on prospective buyers - who they are, how they seek out information, what they care about learning - and develops targeted content to fulfill their needs. She also explores the best way to digest this content, whether it’s social, digital or in person. Before joining IBM, Misty worked as an educator abroad in Japan, navigating subways and a foreign language, all while convincing 650 students each week that the English language is cool.
Misty holds a master of science in marketing from Texas A&M University and bachelor degrees in psychology and education from the University of California, Berkeley. While in grad school, she had the opportunity to perfect delivering great customer service through experiences in retail, consulting projects, and teaching assistantship. When not soaking in the food scene around Austin, TX, she’s a big fan of foodie tourism and trying out new home recipes, as well as food and lifestyle photography.
