InfoSphere Guardium Tech Talk: Advanced Reporting

On demand: Build on basic reporting skills

An understanding of IBM® InfoSphere® Guardium® reporting is a critical skill for anyone who works with InfoSphere Guardium. It provides the capability to modify existing reports or create new ones. In this Advanced Reporting session, Dario Kramer, an InfoSphere Guardium architect, helps attendees build on the skills learned in the recent InfoSphere Guardium Tech Talk: Reporting 101 session held on January 30, 2014.

The Advanced Reporting session includes a discussion of the following topics:

  • Scheduling reporting runs
  • Considerations for reporting in a federated environment
  • Using the data mdart to improve performance
  • Understanding query building options and timestamps

Reviewing the materials from the Reporting 101 session is strongly recommended if you did not attend that session. The materials can be obtained on the developerWorks InfoSphere Guardium Community wiki site, and they can be viewed in two parts on the InfoSphere Guardium YouTube channel:
